Bramble, Briar, and Vick unexpectedly follow a time traveller 100 years in the future, where they find Earth beset by environmental catastrophe, with humanity barely able to survive.

When Vick gets a chance to start his life again as a logger, he must save his friends by embarking on an adventure through time and space.

Briar and Bramble, who lost their mother Barbara when they were cubs, are thrown into danger when escorting a scientist, which may lead them to a family reunion.
